The book is reasonably firmly bound, some cracking along the internal gutters. The boards are scuffed to the extremities, faded and grubby, the spine has all but disintegrated. The brown endpapers are clean but beginning to lift at the rear. The text block is clean, free of markings and foxing.
Inscribed by Crosland to W W Wynne (Walter). Inscribed below that by Wynne to Dodie in 1919. Dodie being the 101 Dalmatians author Dodie Smith.
From the library of Dodie Smith’s friend Esme Wynne-Tyson and her son Jon Wynne-Tyson. Included is a photocopy of a letter from Wynne to Dodie gifting the book.
A nice association item.
