Third Danish edition. Complete in two volumes. The books are bound in black half-leather with dark green cloth boards, lettered and simply decorated in gilt to the spine, with raised bands, the endpapers are decorated with a floral pattern. The bindings are slightly bumped and rubbed but reasonably firm. The text blocks are quite heavily foxed and toned with minor cracking at points. An early edition of the first Dickens title to be translated by Ludvig Moltke.
